Lucille the Tugboat Vancouver International Airport, BC

We collaborated closely with the late and great Judson Beaumont of Straight Line Designs Inc. for over 25 years on numerous fun and creative projects. When YVR approached Judson with the opportunity to create a play structure at the airport, he asked us to provide him with concepts, sketches and to sculpt maquettes. After multiple concept designs were presented, he most loved our cartoon tugboat design and so began the sculpting and fabrication process to bring Lucille the Tugboat to life.
